This is a picture of Dominican Republic when the dictator Héctor Trujillo rules the nation. The streets were clean, violence wasn't an issue as big as it is today. Everyone had a plate in their front doors that said "Trujillo manda", in English its "Trujillo Rules". People had fear until May 30, 1961, thats the day Trujillo died and people freed themselves from that dictatorship Trujillo had. Throughout time, the Dominican Republic has gotten worst due to the corrupt presidents we've had after Trujillo. Today the Dominican Republic is a very corrupt country & it gets worst day after day...
