What is Endometriosis?
Women's health.
Endometriosis or a painful period?

I'm writing about endometriosis becaude i think it's important for young ladies and women to know about it. I learned about it because i was feeling the symptoms and looked it up on Google. I was scared because it can lead to infertility and difficulty having babies.

According to my research on Google:

If you have an extremely painful menstrual cycle you may have endometriosis. Endometriosis is a disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus.

Some of the symptoms of endometriosis are pain in the intestine or lower abdomen, painful bowel movements during menstruation, heavy periods, bleeding between periods, pain during intercourse, and problems getting pregnant.

There are some effective treatments such as hormones and excision surgery that are available.
