How I learned English

How did I learn English? When the pandemic started my parents decided to send me to DR because covid was so bad in New York. When I was there people just started talking like OMG how are you? can you speak English? I want to hear how you sound in another language! So I was like, i been in NY for three years and I don't know English! So I decided to learn because I was bored with nothing to do in DR, I started to translate everything I can and talking to my teachers online using Duolingo, and in four months I was talking and understanding. When I came back to NY I was practicing with my family, school, work and friends. Don't let anything to stop you! It's never late to do something.
