Pennsylvania Fish Commission 1982 LITTERBUG LAW

The Pennsylvania Fish Commission, now the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, is the sister agency to the Pennsylvania Game Commission. This agency is empowered to manage, regulate and protect aquatic life in Pennsylvania and regulate watercrafts and their use on waters in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are listing quite a few different informational signs that were used on Pennsylvania Fish Commission property, facilities and special management / regulation areas till the agency underwent an agency restructure and changed its name to the now existent Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission. This was done to include the agency’s work in the field of boating and law enforcement regulatory power in the field of water sports, water crafts and water related activities. The Pennsylvania Fish Commission makes use of many different, paper, fiberglass, plastic and metal informational signs on land, facilities and special management / regulation areas such as a Catch and Release, Flying Fishing Only and No Harvest Area Waters. The state agency uses these sign to inform the public of rules, regulations and general information. When the agency underwent the restructure and name change, all of the signs reading “Pennsylvania Fish Commission” became obsolete and had to be revised and updated to reflect the agency’s new name.
