Season 1
The first season follows the investigation into Jason Blossom's murder. Jason, the son of the town's wealthiest family and one of the most popular students (tied only by his twin sister, Cheryl), is discovered dead. He was fatally shot in the head and washed up on the Sweetwater River's banks. Our four main characters' backstories (Veronica Lodge, Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, and Jughead Jones)As time goes on, we learn more and more about Jason's dreadful situation. Since Betty's great-grandfather Cooper was murdered by Jason's great-grandfather Blossom, the Blossom and Cooper families have hated each other. The difficult for Betty's sister, Polly, who was not only engaged to Jason two were revealed to be brothers later in the season. This is especially before his murder but is also pregnant with his twins.

Season 2
The second season follows the story of a serial killer known as the Black Hood. The Black Hood targets those he considers sinners, beginning with Fred Andrews and continuing to wreak havoc on the town. The Black Hood appears to have an odd relationship with Betty, whom he continues to harass with calls, puzzles, and threats as the story progresses. He even makes her choose between her best friend and him. (Veronica) and boyfriend (Jughead).

Season 3
The season is based on a game called Griffins and Gargoyles, which is similar to Dungeons and Dragons. G n' G is a twisted roleplaying game that is said to manipulate its players into doing crazy things that have real-world consequences. They want to please the Gargoyle King, a shadowy figure. As it creeps its way into popular culture, it is first identified in Riverdale's side characters. Dilton Doiley and Ethel Muggs are among the first members of the inner circle to bring up the game. However, they have more pressing concerns at the start of the season.
