The Conjuring 2 is a supernatural horror film directed by James Wan that was released in 2016. It is the third installment in The Conjuring Universe and the sequel to The Conjuring. From the original film, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as paranormal investigators and writers Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Ed and Lorraine Warren, paranormal investigators, return from a self-imposed vacation in 1977 to visit Enfield, a town in north London. There, they encounter Peggy Hodgson, a frazzled single mother of four who warns them that something sinister is wreaking havoc in her home. Ed and Lorraine believe her story when the youngest daughter starts to show signs of demonic possession. As the Warrens try to help the besieged girl, they become the next targets of the malicious spirit.
This is my #1 favorite movie out of the conjuring sequels.
