Sibling portrait of Julien and Pierre Lacarrère

The little boy standing on the right is my great-grandfather, Pierre Lacarrère, born in 1905 in Tonnay-Charente, France (I think). He was one of four children, two boys, and two girls. According to my grandmother, Pierre's father, Louis, (her grandfather) was a mean man with a cold heart. Louis was working as a train station director in Tonnay when his children were born, but then moved to Algeria to have the same profession, taking only his sons with him. This photograph was taken at that time. Algeria was under French occupation from 1830-1962, so this was right in the middle of the occupation, around 1912.
