Jeanne Renée (Loullier) Lacarrère, great-grandmother

A strong woman

My maternal great-grandmother Renée was born in 1894 in France, to a single mother who was 19 years old. Because her mother couldn't take care of her, she was raised by her great-aunt and great-uncle until the age of 14 in Toulouse. Afterwards, she was reunited with her mother who had remarried a Gaston Loullier (spelling?) and lived in Montmartre, Paris. She married my great-grandfather Pierre Lacarrère and had four children. They lived in Asnières, France, just outside of Paris, and were there during the German occupation.
