Function of a pyramid

The function of the Egyptian pyramids was to be a tomb for their pharaohs. According Canadian Museum of History “ This was because the ancient Egyptians believed that there was life after death.” This demonstrates the preparation kings went through before death because they became gods in death, specifically god osiris (god of death). In conclusion, People went along with this because they believed the gods were going to determine if they were going to hell or heaven.
