A 2020 election conversation between concerned citizens

Trying to make an extremely close call :D
The day after the US presidential election, Julian Rodriguez and Philip Shearer are trying to predict what the outcome will be.
Julian is an entrepreneur from The Bronx, in fact his company Bazaar became the first ever venture-backed startup from The Bronx in 2016/2017.
But we've always discussed politics, economics, culture, and history as well
as starting and running companies.
Julian got involved in fundraising for political campaigns in 2020 because even though there are technical and legal differences, the process of pitching is the same whether you're raising money for companies or political campaigns - in effect, it's the work of sales and business development, albeit a very complex and specific instance of salesmanship.
So Julian was making prediction maps that he was sending around via text message to interested people, and we had very long telephone and text message conversations between Election Day (Tuesday Nov 3) and the beginning of this week (Monday Nov 9).
The screenshot is a snapshot that summarizes the way we both feel pretty well: no matter what the outcome of the election, no matter who is in power, the country is in serious trouble because authoritarianism and fascism are on the rise, not only in the United States but around the world on every continent.
Just like when Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi Party, for short) were elected to power in Germany in 1932, Donald Trump was democratically elected in 2016. But it is after being democratically elected that Hitler created an ultra-violent totalitarian state; and Donald Trump, aided by the Republican Party, is doing exactly the same thing: inciting violence against political opponents, supporting ultra-nationalist and racist organizations, and refusing to recognize the result of any election that follows the one that put him in power.
Both Julian and Philip have been convinced that the vast majority of the general public, regardless of who they vote for, have not understood that the world is on a path leading to a place of death and destruction for everyone. The wheel of History is turning, and humankind is heading downwards.
Just like in 1941, there will be a resistance to the fascists, and in the end they will lose once again, because their system does not work. No human society in History has killed its own people for political reasons and been successful.
The main problem is that people don't learn. Instead of learning, they spend their time entertaining themselves. And pretty soon people know nothing about history, and do the same dumb things that never worked in the past.
Conclusion: learn to distinguish fact from fiction, and learn as much as you can from as many different types of people as possible - including the ones you don't agree with.

We are literally in the worst case scenario for the country. Biden had to win big.
