How mechanical engineering is related to hardware and operations
During my time at MetaBronx, the team I selected was Hardware and Operations. I chose to work with hardware and operations because I believe it is the topic most highly connected to mechanical engineering, which I am interested in learning about.
Mechanical engineering is connected to hardware and operations because both are focused on designing, building, and improving products. Also, mechanical engineering is what is designed, hardware shows the manufacturing of a product, and operations is what manages the production.
In hardware, mechanical engineers can design systems and make sure those products are safe to use and function properly. They also work with other kinds of engineers such as electrical and software engineers to make sure all parts are working how they should be.
In operations, mechanical engineers help with manufacturing and sorting out problems. They may also help with boosting production, fixing costs and allow all products to be built correctly.
