I am Salvadorian Immigrant
I wonder if one day the violence will end in my country
I hear how people are forced to be in gangs in my country
I want peace

I am Salvadorian Immigrant
I pretend that my country is free of violence
My heart is broken
I cry when I see or hear how people kill each other
I worry about young people and children They are the future

I am Salvadorian Immigrant
I do not understand why there are bad people
I hope that one day there will be peace
I dream of returning to my country
and there is less violence
I dream that people are not afraid to leave their homes


I hope we can enjoy the beauty of El Salvador

Me pregunto si un dia la violencia terminara en mi país
Escuchó cómo las personas se ven obligadas a estar en pandillas en mi país
Quiero paz

Soy Salvadoreña Inmigrante
Pretendo que mi país sea libre de violencia
Mi corazón está roto
Lloro cuando veo o escucho como las personas se matan entre ellos
Me preocupa por los jóvenes y niños que son el futuro.

Soy Salvadoreña Inmigrante.
No entiendo porque hay personas malas
Espero que un día haya paz
Sueño regresar a mi país que haya menos violencia
Sueño que las personas no tengan miedo al salir de sus casas

Espero que podamos disfrutar de la belleza de El Salvador
