I am Latina and Caribbean
I am Latina hasta la muerte
I listen to beautiful bachata music playing
I see my friends dancing on the beach
I want to dive in the ocean to swim with the fish

I am Latina and Caribbean
I am loving myself
I feel powerful when I help people
I touch my soul
I worry that life could end in a second
I cry when I remember being away from my family

I am Latina and Caribbean
I understand there is no peace in the world
I say the world can change
I dream I will fulfill my goals
I try to put a smile on my face I hope to go back to my country with my family
I am Latina and Caribbean

Soy latina y caribeña
Soy latina until death
Escucho música de bachata tocando muy bonita
Veo a mis amigos bailando en la playa
Quiero bucear en el océano para nadar con los peces
Soy latina y caribeña
Me estoy amando
Me siento poderoso cuando ayudo a la gente
Toco mi alma
Me preocupa que la vida se vaya en un segundo
Lloro cuando recuerdo estar lejos de mi familia
Soy latina y caribeña
Entiendo que en el mundo no hay paz
Yo digo que el mundo cambia

Sueño para cumplir mis metas
Intento mostrar una sonrisa de cara
Espero volver a mi país con mi familia
