Playing with Zoe during our summer on Cuttyhunk

We rented the old bowling alley (in the background) of a mansion on Cuttyhunk together with the family of my mother's best friend from Garrison Forest School, Fitzy. I had great fun playing with her daughter Zoe, who was much younger. These two summers, around the time of our move from Wellesley, Mass. to Scarsdale, New York, left me with many happy memories of group poetry writing and Capture the Flag games across the island.
