My story

My name is Kiasha Bernardez and I am 17 years old and I am from Honduras. My favorite pastime is dancing and playing with my brother. My favorite color is red. I live with my mom and dad and I have a little brother. The school that I study at is International Community High School. My favorite music is KBP. In the spring of 2019 I came to the US with my mom and dad and brother in my mom's womb. The journey was a bit dangerous. When I found out that I was going to travel to the United States, I was very happy and that motivated me to continue on my journey. Most of my family is here but I have a few aunts left back home. All my family is from the Garifuna culture.
